On Monday afternoons for the past 10 years we’ve been playing math games with our friends. We started with addition, subtraction, multiplication and fractions. We found games for every stage of learning. Kids brought their iPads and parents visited and we learned that sitting with friends and playing games has made math fun.

We noticed that there are many people who have old unused iPads and for the last two years we have supported a wonderful organization called Collaboration Ghana-Quebec. We have collected iPads, loaded them with fun math apps and helped to begin an iPad math program in Kpemale, Ghana. We have learned that there are many Canadians who are willing to donate their old iPads to support learning throughout the world.

We are now collecting iPads for parents and kids in northern Canada.
